Description

Azure B is a triiodide compound that has been used as an analytical reagent. It reacts with potassium dichromate to produce methylene, which is then absorbed by the skin. Azure B has been used as a skin cancer diagnostic tool and has shown inhibition of cell division in human serum and cell nuclei.
