Description :
3-Amino-2-norbornanecarboxylic acid is a non-selective competitive antagonist of the GABA receptor. It reverses the effect of GABA on chloride ion channels, which is responsible for its inhibitory effect. 3-Amino-2-norbornanecarboxylic acid has been shown to be neuroprotective in animal models and is being investigated as a potential treatment for neuropathic pain.
