Description

Astringin is a natural compound that is found in the leaves of a variety of plants, including cranberries. It has been shown to have antioxidative properties and can be used as an antimicrobial agent. Astringin is also used for the treatment of autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus erythematosus. Astringin has also been shown to reduce symptoms of congestive heart failure. This compound may work by inhibiting acetylcholine release at the neuromuscular junction or by reducing inflammation.
