Description :
Ac-beta-Ala-OH.DCHA is a synthetic fatty acid that is used as a control in metabolic studies. This compound has been shown to have no effect on body mass index or aerobic glycolysis in rats, but does increase the rate of acute ischemic damage and increases the concentration of industrial chemicals in tissue samples. Ac-beta-Ala-OH.DCHA is also used as an amido for chemical reactions.
