Description :Asperulosidic acid methyl ester is a chemical compound that belongs to the class of flavonoids. It is a yellow crystalline solid, with a melting point of about 66 °C. Asperulosidic acid methyl ester has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. This compound inhibits the production of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) and nitric oxide (NO). Asperulosidic acid methyl ester also has an inhibitory effect on platelet aggregation, which may be due to its ability to inhibit cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase activities. This compound has been shown to have an analgesic effect in animal studies.
