Description

Henicosafluorodecanesulphonate is a polyfluoroalkyl fluorinated compound that has been used in the production of ammonium salts. It is a stable isotope with a proton number of 18 and an atomic mass of 197. It has been detected in the environment as an environmental pollutant, and it can be found in some rain, snow, and oceans. Henicosafluorodecanesulphonate is an emulsifying agent that is often used to precipitate particulates from water. The chloride ion forms a coagulation agent with calcium ions to form insoluble calcium chloride. This surfactant also has the ability to reduce surface tension between two liquids by lowering the interfacial tension between them.
