Informations sur le produit
7-Methoxynaphthalene-2-carboxylic acid is an isoform of naphthalene-2-carboxylic acid. It is a modulator that can be used in clinical studies, and has been shown to be pharmacologically active in humans. 7-Methoxynaphthalene-2-carboxylic acid has been shown to have physicochemical properties that are different from other isoforms, and it has been found to be a potential therapeutic agent for the treatment of diseases such as hepatic disease and malonic aciduria. 7-Methoxynaphthalene-2-carboxylic acid also inhibits the expression of utrophin, which is a protein involved in muscular dystrophy and Duchenne muscular dystrophy. This compound can also act as a competitive inhibitor for ezutromid, an enzyme involved in the metabolic pathway of aromatic amino acids.
