4-Chloro-2-Methylacetanilide is an acaricide that is used to control ticks and mites. It is absorbed by the skin and excreted in urine, mainly as a metabolite. 4-Chloro-2-Methylacetanilide can be detected in the body for up to 3 weeks after treatment. This product is not toxic to mammals, but it may cause skin irritation and severe eye irritation with prolonged contact. The product should be handled with care and should not be inhaled or swallowed.
