Description :
3-Methyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-4-amine is an inhibitor of the PI3K enzyme that inhibits the phosphoinositide 3 kinase (PI3K) and its downstream products. It has been shown to inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis in b cell malignancies. This compound also reduces myelofibrosis in mice by inhibiting B cell differentiation. The mechanism of action may be related to the inhibition of PI3Kδ, which is a regulatory subunit of PI3K.
