2,4,6-Trimethyl-2,4,6-trivinylcyclotrisilazane is a ceramic material with excellent oxidation resistance. It has been shown to be stable in the presence of organic solvents and can be used for coating applications. 2,4,6-Trimethyl-2,4,6-trivinylcyclotrisilazane's chemical formula is Si(CH)Cl(CH)SiH(CH)Cl. This compound has been shown to exhibit properties that are similar to those of silicon as well as organosilicon compounds such as methyltrichlorosilane or vinyltrichlorosilane. 2MCTSILAZANE can also be synthesized manually using a small amount of liquid silicon tetrachloride and dichloromethylsilane at temperatures between -10°C and 40°C.
