Borane morpholine is the chemical compound H3BO3. It is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless solid that is soluble in water. Borane morpholine reacts with trifluoroacetic acid to form borane. When light is exposed to this compound, it transforms into boron trioxide. The hydroxyl group on the borane molecule forms a cavity with a multi-walled carbon atom which has a carbonyl group. This cavity can be used for functionalization of the molecule. Borane morpholine has been shown to have inhibitory properties against ethylene diamine and organometallic reactions due to its site specific reactive site.
