Description :Benzo-18-crown 6-ether is a crown ether that has the optimum concentration for hydrogen bonding in the range of 1.5 to 2.5 M trifluoroacetic acid. It is used as an analytical chemistry tool for group P2 molecules, such as hydrochloric acid, by measuring the frequency shift at 275 nm. It also has shown to be able to stabilize complexes with multi-walled carbon nanotubes and polymeric matrices.
