Description :2-bromo-1-fluoro-3-methoxybenzene (2BrFM) is a modulator that has been shown to be active against the enzyme d159687. It is an analog of 2-bromo-1,3-difluoroacetophenone, which is a known modulator of d159687. This compound has been shown to be effective in sequential and combinatorial approaches as well as when coupled with other modulators. 2BrFM has also been found to be an allosteric modulator, which alters the shape or conformation of the active site in order to either inhibit or activate the binding of substrates. The allosteric modulation profiles for this compound have not yet been fully elucidated.
