Informations sur le produit
1-Butyl-1-methylpyrrolidinium hexafluorophosphate (BMPF) is an electrochemical cell, which is a type of battery that uses the oxidation and reduction of a material to generate electricity. The overpotential for this cell is typically low and it leaves little or no residues in the environment. BMPF has been shown to be capable of reducing the amount of malondialdehyde on membranes by up to 50% when used at a concentration of 1 mM. This compound also inhibits photosynthesis in plants, as it prevents the synthesis of chlorophyll. Humidity can increase the flammability and reactivity of BMPF, which can lead to an explosion if ignited.
