Description

Tert-butyl 2,2,2-trichloroacetimidate is an organic molecule that can be used to synthesize a peptide in a solid-phase synthesis. It reacts with amines and phosphoric acid to form the corresponding ester and trichloroacetamide. This reaction occurs in an acidic environment and does not require any external catalysts. The molecule is stable in the presence of hydrogen fluoride and is not reactive with other nucleophiles.
