Description :
(4-Bromo-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)acetic acid is a nucleophilic reagent used in coordination chemistry. It can be used to synthesize pyrimidines and hydrazines, which are important in the medicinal industry. (4-Bromo-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)acetic acid reacts with acrylonitrile in a microwave irradiation process to produce 4,5′dibromopyrazole. This product is also widely used as a precursor for the production of other brominated compounds, such as bromobenzene.
