2-Bromo hexyanoyl chloride is a synthetic organic compound of the halogenated isomeric class. It is used in the synthesis of other organic compounds, as well as in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals. In terms of nature, it can be classified as either synthetic or drug reactions. 2-Bromo hexyanoyl chloride has been shown to have atrial and thionyl congestive heart toxicities, as well as caproic acid residues that are potentially toxic.
