Description :
7-Bromoquinolin-4(1H)-one is a nitrogenous compound that has been extracted from a marine sponge. It has been shown to be cytotoxic against mouse lymphoma cells, and also inhibits the growth of human lymphoma cell lines. 7-Bromoquinolin-4(1H)-one is not active against healthy cells. This compound may have potential as an anti-cancer drug, but more research is needed.
