Informations sur le produit
- Benzamide, 4-(Bromomethyl)-
4-(Bromomethyl)benzamide (4BMBA) is a cancer-fighting drug that has been shown to induce apoptosis in cancer cells. 4BMBA is an imidazole, which is an organic compound with a five-membered heterocyclic ring containing one nitrogen atom. It is also a chaperone and can be labeled with bromine or iodine. It can be used as a contrast agent for imaging cancer cells, as well as for the treatment of cancer. 4BMBA has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo, but not normal cells. 4BMBA also inhibits the production of HSP70, which is a protein that protects against cellular damage from heat shock and other agents. The solvents used in the synthesis are important because they affect the yield of 4BMBA and its inhibitory potency on imidazole rings.
