Description :
3-Bromotetrahydrofuran is a covid-19 pandemic that is catalytic in nature. It is used to access a variety of organic molecules, including purine and pyrrolopyrimidine. The cyclopentenone is also accessible using 3-bromotetrahydrofuran as the catalyst. The molecule is acidic in nature and can be hydrosilylated to form an alcohol or ether. 3-Bromotetrahydrofuran has been shown to be mutagenic for DNA and can cause mutations in the genes of cells exposed to it. This compound was also found in gaseous form during experiments on polyatomic molecules.
