Description

Tert-Butyl thiophen-2-ylcarbamate is a racemic, tertiary amine that has a crystal structure consisting of two dihedral chains. This compound is a carbamate with the formula CH3COOC2H5CS. The tert-butyl group is bound to the carbon atom adjacent to the carbonyl group and forms hydrogen bonds with the carbonyl oxygen and hydroxyl groups.
