Description :
2-Bromo-6-iodopyridine is a synthetic molecule that can be used as an antigen or as a ligand. It has been shown to bind to halides, termini, and encapsulation. The amide group on the 2-bromo-6-iodopyridine molecule can be immobilized by intramolecular crosslinking through the amide bond and then immobilizing it with protein molecules. This process can be done at room temperature using a thermal cycler or by using heat and pressure in a vacuum chamber.
