Description

Bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-4-yl)hexane-1,6-diamine is a nonionic hydroxyl compound and an additive in polyolefins. It is used as a polymerization initiator or accelerator for the preparation of polyolefin plastics. Bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-4-yl)hexane-1,6-diamine can be used to prepare polymers by polymerization with olefins such as ethylene and propylene. The chemical stability of this compound makes it suitable for use in sample preparation before analysis by mass spectrometry. Bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-4-yl)hexane-1,6-diamine is reactive with radiation and fatty acids and has been shown to have stabilizing properties for plasma mass
