Informations sur le produit
- 11-bromohexadecanoic acidHexadecanoic acid,16-bromo16-bromo-hexadecanoic acid
16-Bromohexadecanoic acid is a tetradentate molecule that has been synthesized for the purpose of imaging amines in mammalian cells. It is a fluorescence probe with high selectivity for cationic surfactants, which are used as detergents to solubilize membrane components. 16-Bromohexadecanoic acid has shown neutral ph properties and can be used to measure uptake of lipids by neuro2a cells. The molecule is also effective in the synthesis of fatty acids, including octanoic acid and myristic acid, which are important in the activation energies of fatty acid metabolism.
