Informations sur le produit
6-Bromoquinoline- 4-carbaldehyde is an analog of quinoline derivatives that inhibits tumor growth. It has been shown to have anti-cancer properties in u87mg cells and xenograft models, with tumor growth inhibition and regression observed. 6-Bromoquinoline-4-carbaldehyde selectively targets kinases involved in cell proliferation, such as epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), platelet derived growth factor receptor (PDGFR), and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2). The introduction of a bromine atom into the quinoline ring was found to be important for its activity, while optimization of the structure led to increased potency. The plasma concentration of 6-bromoquinoline-4-carbaldehyde was found to be high enough for it to reach therapeutic levels after oral administration, making it suitable for use as an anti-cancer agent.
