Description

Benzalkonium chloride is a potent antimicrobial agent that has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria, fungi, and viruses. It is used in eye drops as preservatives and to prevent the spread of infections. Benzalkonium chloride is also used as an additive in many household cleaning products. There are two methods for measuring the concentration of benzalkonium chloride: laser ablation or titration calorimetry.
