Description

6-N-Biotinylaminohexyl isopropyl phosphorofluoridate, hemihydrate (6-BIPH) is a potential biomarker for cancer. It can be found in human lung tissue and has been shown to be an accurate biomarker for lung adenocarcinomas. 6-BIPH has been validated as a prognostic marker for patients with lung adenocarcinoma and mastocytosis. 6-BIPH is also a good candidate for diagnosis of the disease. The presence of 6-BIPH in cells correlates with the homologous recombination repair pathway, which may lead to the drug's action on DNA damage repair.
