• Description: Buphedrone hydrochloride (BH) is a synthetic cathinone that belongs to the group of stimulants. It has been shown to have similar pharmacological effects as amphetamines, such as increased locomotor activity and decreased food intake. BH also has effects on the brain, including increased neuronal cell division and growth, which are mediated by its interactions with dopamine receptors. BH is structurally similar to methamphetamine and can be synthesized using the same methods. This drug has been found in products labelled as "bath salts" or "plant food."
