Boc-D-alaninol is a peptidomimetic that is used as a linker and decomposable triazole. It has been shown to be clinically useful in the treatment of various diseases, such as cancer, Alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's disease. Boc-D-alaninol inhibits the growth of tumor cells by binding to peptides on the cell surface and inhibiting cell division. The labile nature of this compound can be problematic for longterm use in vivo. However, it does not have any toxic effects on human serum or cell cultures, which makes it suitable for clinical use.
