Description :
(R)-3-Boc-methylaminopyrrolidine is a lead compound that has been shown to have histamine receptor antagonist activity. It has been shown to bind to the histamine H4 receptor and inhibit the binding of histamine. Histamine is a neurotransmitter that plays a role in many physiological processes, such as regulation of blood pressure, sleep, and appetite. The quinazoline group found on this drug has also been shown to act as an antagonist at other receptors, including alpha 1 adrenergic receptors and serotonin receptors.
