It is used in the production of dyes and pharmaceuticals. The reaction is conducted at a temperature of 60°C in a reaction time of 8 hours. Experiments have been conducted to optimize the reaction conditions and determine the optimum reaction time and target product yield. A sulfuric acid concentration of 1M has been found to produce the highest yield, while maintaining the lowest RSD values.
