Description

1,3-Bis(2-isocyanato-2-propyl)benzene is a reactive compound that has been used as a crosslinking agent in the production of polyurethane coatings. The hydroxyl group on the molecule reacts with isocyanate groups to form an ether linkage. This chemical can be used for the production of coatings, particle and microcapsules. 1,3-Bis(2-isocyanato-2-propyl)benzene is also used in the synthesis of polymers with reactive groups such as hydroxyl groups. This product has been shown to be safe for use in human tissue and mammalian tissue. It does not have any adverse effects on polymer films or structural analysis.
