Description :
7-Bromo-3,4-dihydroquinazolin-4-one is a heterocyclic compound that is structurally similar to the thiazole ring. It has been synthesized in order to investigate its biological activity. The analogs of this compound have been reinvestigated in a number of tricyclic derivatives. This study revealed that substitutions on the heterocyclic ring are tolerated and may lead to biologically active compounds.
