Description :
6-Bromo-2-quinolinamine is a molecule that belongs to the class of amines. It has been shown to have fluorescence in humans and other animals. 6-Bromo-2-quinolinamine has been used as a model for studying the photophysical properties of fluorine. The systematic study of this molecule led to the discovery of its antibacterial properties, which are due to its ability to bind with bacterial surface molecules such as hydroxyindole. 6-Bromo-2-quinolinamine is also an antibiotic that targets infectious diseases caused by bacteria. Its mode of action is not yet known but it may interfere with the synthesis or structure of bacterial proteins and DNA.
