5-Bromo-3-chloro-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridine is a cancer drug that belongs to the class of pyrrole and pyridine. It has been shown to have vibrational, nitrogen atoms, and Raman spectra that are centrosymmetric. It is an isomer of cisplatin and 4-chloro-7-azaindole. 5BPCP has been found to be cytotoxic in vitro against prostate adenocarcinoma cells.
