Description :
4-Bromo-7-chloroquinoline is a chemical compound that can be used as a cross-coupling agent in organic chemistry. It has been shown to have an efficiency of >60% and can be used with halides, pyridyls, imidazoliums, boronic acids, and carbonylative catalysts. 4-Bromo-7-chloroquinoline can be used as a catalyst for the coupling reaction between boronic acids and carbonylative catalysts. The reactivity of this compound is dependent on the presence of palladium or platinum. 4-Bromo-7-chloroquinoline reacts with palladium acetate to form a dioxopalladation product (Pd(0)Cl2).
