Description

Boc-4-aminobenzoic acid is a reactive molecule that can be used to form amide bonds. This molecule has been shown to have multidrug resistance, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the uptake of drugs into cells and prevent the release of drugs from cells. Boc-4-aminobenzoic acid has also been shown to have high reactivity in human serum and has been scaled up for synthesis on a particle scale. The molecular weight of boc-4-aminobenzoic acid is 636 g/mol, and the molecular formula is C13H13NO2. It is soluble in water, methanol, and ethanol but insoluble in ether. The chemical name for boc-4-aminobenzoic acid is 1-(p-amino phenyl)ethanone hydrochloride.
