Informations sur le produit
- Boc-L-Phe(4-azido)-OHBoc-?-azido-L-Phe-OH(S)-Boc-2-amino-3-(4-azidophenyl)propanoic acid
Boc-4-azido-L-phenylalanine is a synthetic amino acid that is used in peptide synthesis. It has been shown to interfere with the matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) process and to be useful for the characterization of proteins and peptides. The introduction of Boc-4-azido-L-phenylalanine into peptide synthesis has enabled the use of copper as a catalyst for coupling reactions, which are more stable than mercury or palladium. This amino acid also provides an alternative to aminopropyl linkers, which can be difficult to synthesize. The Boc group on this amino acid can be cleaved by trypsin or tryptic enzymes, leading to a variety of amine derivatives.
