Bromophenol Red sodium salt is a colorless, odorless chemical compound that is an inorganic phosphate salt. It emits a yellow color when lit by ultraviolet light. Bromophenol Red sodium salt is used as a surfactant and carbonate buffer in the laboratory. It also has properties of a color indicator and pH indicator.
