Informations sur le produit
- tert-Butyl 4-(aminocarbothioyl)tetrahydropyridine-1(2H)-carboxylate
- Tert-Butyl 4-Carbamothioylpiperidine-1-Carboxylate
- N-BOC-piperidine-4-carbothioamide
1-N-Boc-piperidine-4-thiocarboxamide is a template molecule that has been optimized for its potential anti-malarial activity. It is a potent and selective inhibitor of protein kinase C (PKC) and can inhibit the growth of plasmodium falciparum in culture. PKC is an enzyme that regulates intracellular signaling pathways, which are responsible for cell growth, differentiation, and survival. 1-N-Boc-piperidine-4-thiocarboxamide blocks the production of cyclic GMP (cGMP), which is required for the regulation of cellular processes such as proliferation and differentiation. This molecule has shown to have a hypoglycemic effect in animal models.
