Description :4-Bromophenacyl bromide is an inhibitor of phospholipase A2. It inhibits the enzyme phospholipase A2, which is responsible for the release of arachidonic acid from membrane phospholipids. This product has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. 4-Bromophenacyl bromide also inhibits human phospholipase A2 and is used as a research tool to study this enzyme's function.
