Description :3-(4-Bromophenyl)propionic acid is a potent linker that is synthesized from trifluoromethanesulfonic acid by the reaction of bromine and 4-bromobenzene. 3-(4-Bromophenyl)propionic acid inhibits the biosynthesis of fatty acids by inhibiting the enzyme fatty acid synthase. 3-(4-Bromophenyl)propionic acid has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of cellular growth in glioma cells. It also decreases blood pressure through inhibition of angiotensin II receptors.
