Informations sur le produit
- Bromodifluoro(trimethylsilyl)methane
Bromodifluoromethyl)trimethylsilane is a fluorescence probe that has been used to study the interaction of nucleophiles with electrophiles. It is also an acidic, organic solvent and an electrophile. Bromodifluoromethyl)trimethylsilane has been shown to be a functional group that can be used as a bioisostere for silicon, terminal alkynes and sodium carbonate in reactions. Bromodifluoromethyl)trimethylsilane interacts with nucleophilic compounds such as nitro compounds. This leads to formation of an intermediate complex that converts into an aldehyde (e.g., acetaldehyde), which is then oxidized by hydrogen peroxide to form the corresponding carboxylic acid (e.g., acetic acid).
