Informations sur le produit
- tert-Butyldiphenylsilyl TriflateTrifluoromethanesulfonic Acid tert-Butyldiphenylsilyl Ester
tert-Butyldiphenylsilyl Trifluoromethanesulfonate is a reagent for the selective hydroxy group protection during organic synthesis. It is used to protect hydroxyl groups in a regioselective manner. This reagent can be used in the synthesis of pyrinodemin, an alkaloid and tricyclic that has been shown to selectively inhibit the growth of cancer cells and bacteria. The tert-butyl group protects the hydroxyl group on the carbon atom adjacent to a phenyl ring. This reagent is also used for protecting hydroxy groups on sugars, such as d-xylose, which are found in sesbanimide, an anti-inflammatory drug that has been shown to have anti-cancer properties.
