Description :
1,1-Bis(methylthio)ethylene is an isomeric compound that is a carbapenem. It has an acceptor for the carbapenem group and a thioacetal for the β-lactamase. The molecule contains halides, covid-19 pandemic, preparative, skeleton, antibacterial and polyatomic molecules. It also contains functional groups such as alkylation and thioacetals. 1,1-Bis(methylthio)ethylene has been shown to have antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and Enterococcus faecalis.
