• Description: 2-(4-tert-Butylphenyl)-5-(4-biphenylyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole is a chemical compound that is used as a reagent in biological research. This compound has been shown to have anti-infective properties and is used for the treatment of skin infections caused by bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus. 2-(4-tert-Butylphenyl)-5-(4-biphenylyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole has also been shown to be non-polymeric and not bind to any proteins or nucleic acids.
