• Description: N-Benzyloctylamine is a broad-spectrum antibacterial that is effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. N-Benzyloctylamine inhibits the activity of aminopeptidases, which are enzymes that hydrolyze amino acids from the ends of peptides. N-Benzyloctylamine also inhibits fatty acid synthase, which is an enzyme involved in the synthesis of fatty acids. This inhibition leads to a decrease in fatty acid production, resulting in a reduction in lipid accumulation within cells.
