Description

4'-Bromo-3-chloropropiophenone is a heterocycle that can be used as a precursor in the synthesis of other oxygen heterocycles. It has been shown to mediate the oxidation of alcohols and amines, which can be used as a tool for stereoselective synthesis. The chemoenzymatic synthesis of 4'-bromo-3-chloropropiophenone is based on the chemical reactions between two reactants: 4'-bromo-3-chlorobenzophenone and potassium chloropropoxide. This reaction occurs with high yields and at room temperature.
