Description :
Betulonic acid is a naturally occurring compound that has been shown to have genotoxic properties. It is an ester of betulinic acid, which is found in the bark of the birch tree. Betulonic acid has been shown to inhibit the activity of certain enzymes, such as DNA polymerase and RNA polymerase. Betulonic acid also inhibits inflammation and may be useful for treating inflammatory metabolic disorders.
