Description :
1-Bromo-3,5-difluoro-2-iodobenzene is a polybrominated organic compound. It is a bromonium ion that can be synthesized via the two step sequence of 1) the reaction of 3,5-difluoroiodobenzene with bromine and 2) the reaction of this intermediate with sodium carbonate.
